Writing, managing and researching for several marine and coastal projects including climate change research, environmental permitting, and invasive species control planning; 

  • Mapping, researching and writing stories for the Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Report for the State of Hawai‘i Interagency Climate Adaptation Committee.

  • Managed the proposed installation of a pedestrian bridge on the Nāpali Coast for the State of Hawaii Division of State Parks. This included researching, writing and submitting all permitting and Environmental Assessments, overseeing engineering team's design of bridge; conducting public outreach and managing project finances.

  • Assisting with additional environmental projects including running permits for a wind power development, georeferencing maps for contaminated soil sampling, and monitoring and reporting on invasive species removal efforts.

Conducted a literature review of recent climate change impacts research on the Pacific Region and produced annotated bibliographies on those impacts to Marine and Terrestrial Ecosystems to serve as the basis for the scientific input to the next Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA) and Pacific Chapter of the National Climate Assessment; contract in the works for continued work in the coming year on compiling, editing, and holding workshops on the forthcoming PIRCA
